I can see today’s BTC setup very clearly — this is a bull trap.

Price has been chopping around 8,100. It looks calm on the surface, but the structure underneath has already told the story. The B-wave pullback has reached this area, and market makers are offloading positions from the premium zone onto retail traders. The 1-hour RSI is already at 59, while the 4-hour RSI is only 35. When the two timeframes are this far apart, it shows there are no real buyers supporting this rally.

What I’m watching more closely are the equal highs. There are two short stop pools sitting around 8,128, and price is stuck right here — classic buildup before a hunt. First, they make bulls think the breakout is real, then they reverse and sweep them out. The Premium zone is at 0.77. Above 0.618 is a comfortable distribution zone for institutions; no smart money would go heavily long at this level.

Looking down toward the FVG magnet, the bottom of the 1H bearish FVG is at 7,772, and the 15-minute merged FVG magnet zone is between 6,203 and 7,772. There’s also an unfilled liquidation vacuum below, and price will go looking for it. The real support is the 4H bullish OB between 7,577 and 8,134. If it breaks decisively, the next stop is the liquidity low around 6,270.

So my plan is simple: wait for a pullback into the 8,400–8,600 short OB zone, then short. Don’t chase the market price. Put the stop above the 9,200 structure. First target is 7,271; if that holds, I’ll look for 6,500. No rush — this structure gives me plenty of patience.

ETH is NEUTRAL, so I’m staying out and waiting for BTC to make its move first.
