A genuine question
If you’re investing regularly in the Nasdaq, should you also start investing regularly in the S&P 500?
Right now, almost all my investments are tied to the Nasdaq. The upside is that it’s simple; the downside is that when I see tech stocks plunge while scrolling at night, I suddenly wonder if I’m too concentrated.
I’ve also thought about splitting things 50/50, but I’m worried that would make things more complicated and tempt me to keep tinkering with the allocation.
Would love to hear what you all think: do you put everything into one index, or split between the Nasdaq and the S&P 500? What kind of proportions do you have in mind?
