🚨 Trump lost Congress. He still holds the veto.
A battle of vetoes and negotiations is coming.
Will Bitcoin get caught in the middle—or find an opportunity?

THE MARKET FILE — WASHINGTON'S POWER STRUGGLE
November 4, 2026

Democrats won the House and Senate. The new balance of power takes effect in January.

Trump remains in the White House. He will now have to negotiate with lawmakers who can block his agenda.

🏛️ TWO POWERS, TWO LEVERS
Congress can block legislation, shape government funding and launch investigations. The Senate can also block nominees.

Trump can veto bills that reach his desk. Overriding a veto requires a two-thirds vote in each chamber.

Winning Congress creates bargaining power. Passing laws will require broader agreements.

₿ WHAT CHANGES FOR BITCOIN?
I see two competing forces:

🔴 Political friction could delay crypto legislation and prolong uncertainty for businesses and investors.

🟢 Negotiations that produce bipartisan rules could give the sector greater stability.

Markets will assess which agreements survive that struggle.

📖 MY TAKE
My bet on Republicans retaining control didn't play out. I remain bullish on Bitcoin.

BTC's recovery from overnight losses shows that a political defeat for Trump can coexist with buying.

Now I want to see whether that demand lasts beyond the initial reaction.

👀 THE TEST
I'm watching the crypto agenda, government funding negotiations and ETF flows.

A budget dispute that brings a shutdown closer would add uncertainty. A concrete agreement could ease it.

💬 Will the clash between Trump and Congress bring paralysis or more durable agreements? Which outcome favors BTC?
