The Turkish lira (TRY) fell 16% against the US dollar (USD) and 21% against the Chinese yuan (CNY) over the course of a year. But TRY’s base annualized yield is 45%. After accounting for exchange-rate losses, holding TRY for a year yields 29% annualized relative to USD and 24% relative to CNY~
So what if I add leverage?
