do not dare to short $BTC and $XAU , because rally today is different :

xau :
driven by chaos of election in US, no matter who is the winner, gold love chaos

BTC:
no matter whose the winner in election, BTC already accept, already meet the ground when binance hacked, now going together with gold

just try to find nearest support when pullback to enter the market if you late.
