But first-quarter guidance following the Qorvo merger calls for revenue of $1.80–$1.90 billion, versus consensus of about $1.99–$2.00 billion, and EPS of $1.25, versus consensus of about $1.50–$1.52. Mobile revenue is guided to decline about 10–15% quarter over quarter. Investing.com: closed at 85.40, after-hours at ≈70.9 (down about 17%), still about 13.6% below the MA20 of ≈82.
My take:
The quarter delivered, but the outlook fell short—guidance was cut right out of the gate after the merger, and the market is pricing it like a falling knife.
Watching, not chasing: Let’s talk again if it gets back above the 85.40 close or the MA20 at ≈82. If it loses the after-hours level of ≈70.9, the second leg down may not be over.
