🇮🇷☢️ IRAN HAS JUST WARNED ITS CITIZENS ABOUT A NUCLEAR BOMB: DON’T LOOK AT THE FLASH AND SHELTER IN PLACE FOR 24 HOURS

📺 😰💣 Iranian state television aired an eight-minute educational video produced by Isfahan’s emergency services on what to do in the event of a nuclear attack.

Context of the warning

• Origin: The material was published as part of Iran’s annual Civil Defense Week.
• Rumors and tensions: It comes amid speculation and reports (such as comments by outside figures and tensions over facilities in Natanz), although there are no official plans or confirmations of an imminent atomic attack by the United States. President Donald Trump has ruled out using nuclear weapons against the country.

Safety instructions shared in the video

If a nuclear explosion or attack occurs, the official recommendations for the public include:

• Outdoors:

• Don’t look at the flash (it can cause temporary blindness).
• Drop to the ground immediately behind a solid structure and cover your head and face.
• Once the shock wave has passed, go to the nearest building and stay away from windows. A car is not a safe shelter.

• Indoors:

• Go to the basement or an interior room, away from exterior walls and windows.
• Close doors and windows, and turn off air conditioners or ventilation systems that draw in air from outside.
• Remain sheltered for at least 24 hours or until authorities say it is safe.
• Consume only bottled water and packaged food.
• Take iodine tablets only if instructed by a doctor.
• Get information via a battery-powered or hand-crank radio, as cellular networks may fail because of the electromagnetic pulse (EMP).
• Clean pets if they have been exposed to the outdoors.
