【The harder SUI falls, the less you can afford to just say “it’s fallen a lot”】

SUI is down 83% from its ATH, and many people are treating “cheap” as an opportunity. My first question is: has demand changed, or are tokens simply changing hands faster? I learned that lesson the hard way in 2017. When an asset is deeply oversold, the first thing to guard against is excitement.

My thinking has shifted over the past few days. It’s up 6.3% in 24 hours, but still down 2.4% over seven days, while the Fear & Greed Index is only at 34. The market is fearful, yet SUI has steadied first. That divergence caught my eye; the unusually high trading volume suggests attention is returning. But I’m not sure whether this is a test of the waters or a sell-off.

So who actually benefits? If ecosystem users, fee revenue, and liquidity return, traders, market makers, and projects that rely on visibility stand to gain. But if all we get is excitement around price and volume, with no recovery in demand, then the business is hollow. A steep decline doesn’t mean the fundamentals have improved.

What I’m stuck on now is this: the rebound has buyers behind it, but we still lack proof that demand will last. I’m itching to act, but I need to keep testing the thesis.

Are you watching trading volume, ecosystem activity, or just the price? Is this rally making you itch to jump in?
