This earnings report is a real jaw-dropper. AMD has pretty much flipped half of Nvidia’s table with this one.

Look at the numbers: revenue came in at $13.377 billion, up 45%—not bad, right? But its core data center business surged a whopping 97%, reaching $8.5 billion. Even CEO Lisa Su said they expect revenue to grow by at least 80% in 2027. This is like a shot in the arm for demand for AI computing power.

The contrast with Apple’s dismal results yesterday couldn’t be more dramatic. Apple’s margins are taking a nosedive under pressure from rising memory prices, while AMD is selling high-priced AI accelerator cards to tech giants and raking in the cash. That’s what you call a tale of two sides of the supply chain: some are dying of thirst while others are drowning in it.

But this is also a wake-up call for us. AMD’s blowout results show that global hot money is still pouring into AI infrastructure. As long as these giants keep snapping up accelerator cards and building data centers, they’ll keep sucking all the liquidity out of the market. We in crypto are going to have to tough it out a while longer.

Don’t see AMD rallying and then rush to buy AI-themed altcoins in crypto. Those companies are making real money hand over fist; the crypto crowd probably won’t even get the scraps. Keep your hands off the buy button, save your ammo, and wait until the major macro risks have fully cleared. Stay steady. $NVDAB $BTC $AMDB
