Just one quick observation: I was looking at the contract data today, and one thing about $AKE caught my eye: open interest was up 51.85% over 24 hours, while the price was down 31.09%.
Adding positions as the price falls probably means shorts are putting pressure on it. But I’ve also seen crowded short positions get squeezed by a sharp rebound more than once, so in situations like this, I neither chase the short nor rush to buy the dip.
