A token I’ve never seen suddenly appeared in my wallet, and it’s valued quite highly. Can I sell it?
Here’s how I understand it: scam tokens use “free money” to spark people’s curiosity and lure them to websites that ask them to connect their wallets. The real goal is to trick them into granting an approval or signing a transaction.
Simply receiving an unfamiliar token won’t cause any problems with your wallet. The risk comes from interacting with the token afterward.
What I do now: I just ignore unfamiliar tokens and hide them using my wallet’s hide feature.
Looking at the market: $ETH is currently priced at 2300.33 (24h +2.39%).
