Bitcoin ETF outflows have slowed sharply — but they haven’t stopped. And ETH’s streak is getting longer.
The key numbers:
• U.S. spot BTC ETFs: −$115.6 million in the Nov. 3 session, the third consecutive day (Farside Investors data, released Nov. 4; SoSoValue puts it at around $116 million). IBIT −$95 million, Grayscale BTC −$52.6 million; BITB inflows +$21.9 million, FBTC +$6.8 million, MSBT +$3.3 million.
• U.S. spot ETH ETFs: −$85.3 million in the same session, the seventh consecutive day. ETHA −$74.4 million, Grayscale ETH −$10.9 million; no flows for other products.
My take: Bitcoin ETF selling slowed by around 71% from −$398.6 million in the Nov. 2 session (and −$643.2 million on Oct. 30), as BTC bounced back to around $78,000. That’s a reprieve, not a reversal — flows are still negative, and ETH just logged its seventh consecutive day of outflows. One flow dataset is never enough to conclude there’s a trend: ETF flows don’t prove who’s selling on the spot market.
What I’m watching next: flows in the next session, whether BTC holds above $78,000, and the U.S. jobs report on Nov. 6.
What do you think—are slowing BTC outflows the start of stabilization, or just a pause before more outflows?
This is my analysis, not financial advice — always DYOR.
