🚨 🇺🇸 TRUMP DECLARES HIMSELF “MR. VETO” AFTER DEMOCRATIC MIDTERM VICTORY
President Donald Trump is sending a blunt message to the incoming Democratic-controlled Congress.
Following the Republicans' midterm losses, Trump shared an image of a bright red cap bearing one word: VETO.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump warned that he would reject legislation he considers unacceptable.
"They'll send over things that are insane and I'll veto them."
Trump believes repeated vetoes could eventually force Democrats to negotiate and reach compromises with his administration.
🏛️ WHAT THIS MEANS:
• Democrats gain greater power to shape legislation and investigate the administration.
• Trump retains the presidential veto, giving him a powerful tool to block bills.
• Congress can still override a veto, but only with a two-thirds majority in both chambers.
• The next two years could bring intense negotiations and political gridlock.
THE BIG QUESTION:
Will Trump's veto strategy force bipartisan compromises, or create a prolonged political standoff in Washington?
