【Tempted as I may be, I’m not jumping into this candlestick just yet】

My first reaction during the day was: should I buy in at $1.25? I couldn’t make up my mind. I was really itching to get in—my old 2017 habit of thinking “a drop means it’s cheap” was creeping back. Luckily, this time my hands were a step slower than my brain.

My signal is clear: wait and see, with a bearish bias. In terms of price structure, XRP is at $1.25, up a slight 0.5% over 24 hours, but still down 6% over seven days, caught between support at $1.23 and resistance at $1.32. A break below $1.23 would signal continued weakness; only a move above $1.32 would mean it had truly regained the initiative.

Trading volume is low, and caution is running high. The FNG is only 34: there’s fear, but not enough to make people lose their heads. Price, volume, and sentiment have all failed to show a strong reversal signal. Trying to guess the direction now would be luck if I got it right—and another expensive lesson if I got it wrong.

The news about the XRP Ledger vulnerability fix mainly affects stablecoin partners in practical terms: closing a loophole that allowed extra tokens to be minted helps protect their asset logic and the ledger’s credibility. XRP itself is unaffected, and I haven’t seen any change in the logic of fund flows as a result. Fixing a vulnerability is product maintenance, not a cash giveaway for the token price.

So I’ll sit this one out and watch for now. Which way are you leaning?
