A note to myself: seeing “Brazilian crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin hacked, loses around $38 million, promises to reimburse users” reminded me of when I first got into crypto.
Back then, whenever I saw news like this, I’d rush to make a trade. I ended up buying near the emotional peak several times, and selling near the bottom.
These days, I do things differently: read the whole story first, wait to see how the market responds, and only then decide whether to act. $ETH is no different.
At the end of the day, the easiest mistake to make isn’t getting the direction wrong—it’s letting your emotions dictate your position.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
