On election night, Bitcoin surged first, then gave it all back.

$BTC touched a 24-hour high of $78,063 at 5 a.m., then slid all the way back. It is now around $76,960, down 0.33% over 24 hours, having given back about $1,100 from its high. The 24-hour low of $76,389 is not far below.

On the election front: Georgia Democratic Senator Ossoff was projected to win reelection, and Virginia Democratic Senator Warner held onto his seat. But control of both chambers is still up in the air, with votes still being counted—the ballots are being tallied, while the price has already made its move.

$ETH is at $2,264, up 0.13%, and has barely followed the decline; $BNB is down 0.90% to $694.25, back below $700.

The next thing to watch: as the vote counts come in, will $BTC hold above the $76,389 low, or test the $78,063 high again? This is not investment advice.
