📌 Overnight review (all based on 1H closes)
00:00 closed at 77,707.4, above 77,570.1; 01:00 closed at 77,618.9, holding above it.
02:00 closed at 77,559.9, falling $10.2 below 77,570.1; 03:00 closed at 77,588.1, back above it.
04:00 closed at 77,838.4; 05:00 closed at 77,876.9. The 05:00 high of 78,049.4 wicked above 78,000, but the close didn’t hold above it.
06:00 closed at 77,863.3; 07:00 closed at 77,439.4, falling $130.7 below 77,570.1.
08:00 low so far: 76,827, just $161 from 76,666 and $355 from 76,472. The 24h low of 76,360 remains unbroken.

📌 If I were the market maker
I wouldn’t treat that early-morning reclaim as a trend reversal. The 05:00 wick broke above 78,000, but the close didn’t hold there—that means someone was waiting to sell up there, not that there were no sellers. The 07:00 close fell back below 77,570.1, invalidating that reclaim for now. The early session continued pressing toward 76,666, while OI also fell by about 625 BTC. This is a pullback with positions being closed, not a sell-off driven by new positions. I’m not waiting to chase higher; I’m waiting for confirmation at the close.

📌 Retail traders following the market maker: wait for confirmation
For a reclaim, look for a 1H close back above 77,570.1. For further downside, look for a 1H close below 76,472. Treat 76,666 in between as a reference only: even if the 08:00 low so far wicks below it, it doesn’t count as a break as long as the close returns above it. Wicks make noise; closes count. Don’t confuse the two.

✅ Invalidation points
A 1H close back above 77,570.1 invalidates the early-session pullback; then watch for a close above 78,000.
A 1H close below 76,472 signals continued downside; then watch 76,260.
The 08:00 low so far of 76,827 has not broken 76,666. Only a close below 76,666 counts as a breakdown of the intermediate level.
