Pretty interesting.
At first, these two landmarks were simply fascinating things I discovered while getting to know the world. I never expected them to gradually become a kind of social identification tool over time.
I used to look at these two places to understand how big the world was.
Now I look at them to figure out whether the person on the other end of the screen is a boy or a girl.
