đ Good morning market update | Tested $78.1K, then gave it all back; back to $77.2K in early trading
As of 08:20 Beijing time on November 4, the crypto market has given back its overnight gains:
- Bitcoin at $77,169, 24h +0.25%, support $76,389, resistance $78,063
- Ethereum at $2,267.2, 24h +0.39%, support $2,241, resistance $2,309
- Binance Coin at $695.2, 24h -0.77%, support $691.7, resistance $703.3
Last night, the question was, âCan it break above $77.5K?â The overnight move played out like this: after dipping to around $77.1K at 22:00, Bitcoin turned higher, climbed step by step from 23:00, rose above roughly $77.9K at 04:00, and peaked near $78.1K at 05:00, pushing past $77.5K. But it couldnât hold there. At 07:00, a single drop knocked off around $450; by 08:00, it had bottomed near $77.2K, back around its starting point in early trading. The 24h change flipped from -0.46% last night to +0.25%, but the current price is still about $200 below last nightâs levelâthatâs because the 24h window rolled out yesterday morningâs low, not because the price actually climbed. Ethereum likewise went from a slight loss to a slight gain, while its current price is about $15 below its level early last nightâalso a window effect. Binance Coinâs loss widened from -0.53% to -0.77%, and its price is lower; itâs the only one of the three major coins that has genuinely given back gains. Total market cap is around $2.62 trillion, down 1.73% over 24hâstill weaker than Bitcoin itself. The majors are recovering, while altcoins continue to bleed.
đ Todayâs watchlist:
1. Regulatory stance: The SECâs Division of Corporation Finance issued a no-action letter, stating that the native token of an institutional-grade blockchain is a âdigital commodityâ and that it would not recommend enforcement action over its programmatic issuance, provided certain conditions are met (PANews)
2. Sovereign adoption: Bhutanâs royal government granted the Gelephu Financial Services Office central bank functions, including the authority to invest in digital assets (PANews)
Will Bitcoin first retest around $77.0K today, or can it get back above roughly $77.5K? Share your thoughts in the comments đ
