According to Jin10, Huatai Securities said smart ring shipments are moving from a niche market toward a standalone wearable category, but the product has not yet entered a phase of broad supply-chain ramp-up. IDC data show global shipments rose from 880,000 units in 2023 to 4.34 million in 2025. FDM CCS Insight forecasts shipments will increase to 6 million in 2026 and reach about 15 million in 2030. By comparison, smart ring sales are still only about 4% of the approximately 162 million smartwatches expected in 2026. Huatai Securities said smart rings have passed the first stage of validating whether consumers need this form factor: Oura has built a sizable user base, and Samsung has provided validation from a major technology company, while Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, and other leading manufacturers have not yet fully entered the market.
