HACKER ATTACK AND BROAD CRYPTO CORRECTION

The sharp correction in the crypto market drove Bitcoin to a six-week low, temporarily falling below US$ 77,000 in response to the US$ 6.3 billion attack suffered by Binance.
The domino effect resulted in more than US$ 1.5 billion in automatic liquidations of leveraged derivatives positions on major exchanges.
While tokens from major ecosystems such as BNB recorded severe drops of up to 8% in 24 hours, the panic triggered mass outflows, including from spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US.
For institutional analysts, the sharp decline could create a classic buying opportunity. Historically, large-scale cyberattacks on exchanges tend to be priced in by the market as isolated and temporary events. With confirmation that Binance has already replenished 98% of the affected assets and an official commitment to fully compensate impacted users, investors see Bitcoin's current technical pullback as a discounted buying opportunity, focusing on the long-term thesis of the ecosystem's resilience and maturation.
