📰 CRYPTO NEWS

According to analyst Markus Thielen, Wall Street’s arrival in the crypto world may have “tamed” Bitcoin, curbing the explosive rallies that once sent the asset multiplying in value by 10 or more in a short time. With the market’s institutionalization through ETFs, price movements have become more gradual and predictable, although Thielen projects that BTC could reach $90,000 before the end of the year. However, the analyst questions whether real demand for institutional ETFs is as strong as it’s often made out to be—a warning not to take lightly. Ethereum is also facing criticism: according to Thielen, the network needs to offer its holders more tangible value if it wants to stay relevant amid the competition. It’s worth asking whether the “maturity” Wall Street is bringing to the crypto market is really good news for retail investors who were hoping for the extraordinary returns of years past.
