On-chain analytics firm CryptoQuant reports that cryptocurrency analysts have turned sharply more optimistic about Bitcoin, reaching levels of bullishness not seen since August 2025.

According to the firm’s latest data covering market activities from July 1 to October 13, 2026, 84% of 164 surveyed analysts now hold a bullish view on Bitcoin. That figure is up sharply from just 37% in early July. CryptoQuant’s 30-day consensus index currently stands at +49.2, reflecting the strong tilt toward positive expectations.

Analysts haven’t been this bullish on Bitcoin since August 2025. 84% of 164 analysts are now bullish, up from 37% in July. That’s more than at the same stage of the 2023 bull market, after half the price gain. pic.twitter.com/Acu3z36c5J

The shift began after a low point of -18.3 on July 2. The 30-day moving average of the consensus index crossed back above zero on July 27, when Bitcoin was trading near $63,800. Price has since advanced, recently hovering in the mid-to-high $80,000 range, while analyst sentiment has continued to strengthen.

As the report reads:

“Bitcoin’s consensus turned on July 27, three weeks before its price breakout. The 30-day consensus index bottomed at −18.3 on July 2, crossed back above zero on July 27 with Bitcoin at $63.8K, and reads +49.2 today. The bullish share of voting analysts rose from 37% to 84% (137 of 164).”

CryptoQuant notes that the current bullish share exceeds the level seen at a comparable stage of the 2023 bull market, even though the price gain so far this cycle has been only about half as large.

Sentiment appears to be running further ahead of price than it did at the start of the previous uptrend; notably, the firm’s chart tracking the analyst consensus index alongside Bitcoin’s spot price illustrates the divergence: while price has climbed steadily, the proportion of bullish analysts has risen more decisively into clearly positive territory.

CryptoQuant’s broader weekly research indicates similar flips toward optimism across several major cryptocurrencies, though Bitcoin remains the primary focus of the highlighted data.

Bitcoin currently trades at $82,300, while the Crypto Fear and Greed Index sits at 63, signaling Greed. Market sentiment remains moderately optimistic, with investors showing growing confidence while avoiding the extremes of market euphoria.
