$643 MILLION LEFT BITCOIN ETFs. BUT $BTC IS FIGHTING BACK.
Wall Street is selling while Washington prepares for the November 3 midterms.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $643.3M in net outflows on Friday, their largest daily withdrawal since June.
BlackRock's IBIT lost $233.7M.
Fidelity's FBTC lost around $201M.
Yet Bitcoin has recovered toward $78K after trading near $76.3K.
So what's really driving this market?
My take: ETF flows matter more for immediate price pressure, while Washington shapes the longer-term regulatory environment.
The political outcome could affect the path of crypto market structure legislation, but it won't automatically create Bitcoin demand.
And here's some perspective: Friday's ETF withdrawals represented less than 1% of total spot BTC ETF assets.
That's significant de-risking, not necessarily capitulation.
What I'm watching now:
• Whether ETF outflows continue after the election.
• Whether BTC can defend the $76K–$78K region.
• Whether U.S. spot demand improves.
• Whether regulatory uncertainty delays institutional investment.
One strong rebound doesn't confirm a reversal. One ugly ETF session doesn't confirm a bear market either.
Follow the capital, not the political noise.
