The ransomware attack on Synology NAS devices has been making quite a splash. I just saw that another guy got hit. He kept all the company's files on a private NAS in the office and never updated or patched it, so hackers encrypted every file.

He's now using a decryption tool to recover them bit by bit. After 36 hours, it's only decrypted 10 TB, with another 10 TB to go...
