Whales and retail traders are already on opposite sides of $AGT : whales are 64% long, while 54% of accounts across the market are short. Faced with this divergence, I’m siding with the whales.

First, let’s look at what drove tonight’s move. At 14:00, the price was slammed down to 0.0272. At 20:00, a single high-volume candle sent it straight up to 0.0575, and at 21:00 it surged again to 0.0619—more than doubling from the low. Contract trading volume in those two hours, 20:00 and 21:00, was 31.5 million U and 43.5 million U respectively—the two biggest volume spikes of the day.

Here’s why I’m bullish:

- Open interest stayed around 16 million U until 20:00, then jumped all at once to 27.5 million U during the rally. It has now pulled back from the high to around 0.052, but open interest is still over 23 million U; most of the new positions haven’t closed;
- During these two hours of pullback, the price has held sideways above 0.05. The dip at 21:00 only touched 0.0497 before being bought back up—there’s real buying support below;
- Retail accounts are leaning short, and the funding rate is only +0.06%. Longs are nowhere near crowded, while those short positions could provide fuel for a move higher.

0.0495 is my line in the sand. If it holds, I’m staying in. First, I’m watching 0.0575 above; if the price holds there, it could go on to test tonight’s high of 0.0619.

Do you think AGT is consolidating at these highs before another push up, or are the big players done pumping and getting ready to dump? If you’re holding a position, share your entry price and your reasoning.
