Nonfarm payrolls week is here again. BTC is moving sideways while waiting for the data

Yesterday, the market was still digesting the election. Today, its eyes are already fixed on October’s nonfarm payrolls report, due the evening of November 6. Last month saw just 29,000 jobs added; this time, expectations have rebounded to 65,000. The unemployment rate matters too. The jobs report directly affects the Fed’s rate-cut timeline, so BTC moving sideways doesn’t mean nothing’s happening—it’s waiting for a macroeconomic test, with investors sitting on the sidelines.

My view: if the jobs report comes in stronger than expected, BTC will probably be under pressure in the short term, and key support levels may not hold. If the data is weaker than expected, there may be room for a rebound. This is my take on the actual numbers. Refusing to draw a conclusion is the same as having no opinion, and pretending otherwise only hurts your holdings. In crypto, there are no bears forever—just bulls who miss the timing.

ETH is currently at $2,265.16 and SOL at $92.42. The money hasn’t disappeared; it’s just moving elsewhere. A breather for the major coins doesn’t mean the bears have won, nor does it mean the rally is over. When capital leaves one place, it always looks for another.

Old Ma’s Little Dog is watching this pivotal moment too. We’ll see which way things go after the data comes out. For now, let’s see what the nonfarm payrolls report says tonight, then decide whether to go long or short.
