One of the biggest altcoin optimists @Tramptaller believes that “the time for crypto has come,” and that $STR, $ZRO, and $UNI could deliver 10×.

This is where I’d pause.

The rise of a few altcoins alone doesn’t mean a full-fledged altseason is beginning. And the claim that “all metrics point to growth” sounds far too confident. In the crypto market, it’s almost never the case that absolutely everything points in just one direction.

At the same time, the idea doesn’t seem unfounded.

$UNI does have a fundamental factor that many speculative altcoins lack: Uniswap remains one of the largest DeFi protocols, while growing network activity and interest in the token create a clearer investment thesis.

But $STRK $ZRO look more complicated.

Starknet and LayerZero still face a significant supply issue. Token unlocks are ongoing for both projects. This doesn’t automatically mean prices will fall, but it does create additional supply that the market needs to absorb.

That’s exactly why I wouldn’t buy these coins just because someone expects them to do 10×.

A 10× return isn’t a technical signal. It would represent a very substantial increase in market capitalization.

For a move like that to happen, several factors would need to align: rising market liquidity, easing selling pressure, increasing trading volumes, sustained demand, and, most importantly, confirmation of the move on the chart.

There’s one more thing.

When the market is truly gearing up for a strong altseason, attention gradually moves beyond a handful of popular coins. Different sectors start coming to life at the same time, volumes rise, and more altcoins begin to show relative strength against BTC.

For now, I’d describe what’s happening differently: the market is trying to find its leaders.

And $STRK, $ZRO, and $UNI could indeed be among them. But that doesn’t mean each one is ready for a 10× move.

My view is simple: the TrumpTaller thesis is worth watching, but not taking on faith.

For me, the real signal won’t come when another post promises a 10× return.

It will come when the price breaks through resistance, holds above it after a retest, and volume confirms the move.

Then the conversation about altseason will get much more interesting.
