I watched the market all day today, and now that it’s closed, I don’t even know what to do.

When I turned off the screen, the room felt strangely quiet. That’s when I realized I’d barely spoken to anyone all day—I’d just been talking to myself.

Sometimes I feel like I’m waiting for a bus that I don’t know when it’ll arrive. Fewer and fewer people are left at the stop, but I don’t dare leave, afraid the bus will show up the moment I do.

The worst part of being stuck in a losing position isn’t losing money—it’s questioning the decision I made in the first place, replaying over and over why I bought in.

I’ve learned a little since then: if I don’t understand what’s going on, I don’t make a move. If I get the urge to trade, I go wash my face.

I didn’t trade today. I think that counts as a move, too.

I have to get up early tomorrow, so I’m off to bed. Get some rest early, everyone.
