Four exchange hacks in three days. The exchanges are bleeding, not Bitcoin.

Mercado Bitcoin: $46 million; a certain EU agency: $133 million—on top of Binance and Bitget earlier.

The hacker holds $46.5 million across 46 addresses: 3,680 ETH, 106 BTC, and 9.23 million altcoins.

Seven tokens were named: PEPE $1.79 million, AAVE $1.61 million, PENDLE $1.35 million, VIRTUAL $1.15 million, UNI $1.04 million, ONDO $1.03 million.

Today, these tokens fell harder than the broader market: AAVE -2.84%, PENDLE -2.59%, ONDO -2.00%, while BTC fell just 1.02%.

The market is pricing in this selling pressure ahead of time.

But the scale is manageable: AAVE's daily trading volume is $95.5 million, so the hacker's $1.61 million accounts for just 1.7%. If it hits the market, it would trigger a sentiment-driven sell-off, not a liquidity-driven one.

In the short term, don't hold these seven overnight. If you've already taken a hit, don't sell in a panic.

The biggest risk isn't the hacker—it's weak internal controls over hot wallets. If you keep coins on an exchange, withdraw them.
