There was an interesting detail this afternoon: when Bitcoin made a new low, XRP didn’t follow.

A little after 2 p.m., Bitcoin hit its low for the day, dropping more than 2%. At the same time, XRP didn’t even touch the bottom of its range at 1.245, then slowly climbed back. It’s now at 1.2515 U.

When the broader market dumps but it doesn’t fall, that usually points to two things: holders don’t want to sell, and buyers are waiting below to scoop it up. The election results come out tomorrow morning, and Ripple has poured more than $40 million into it, so everyone wants to wait and see what happens.

It’s still in the same range, chopping between 1.245 and 1.26 all day—but the longer it chops, the more it looks like it might break upward.

Big Bro’s take is bullish. If it holds around 1.245, you could consider getting in; it won’t count as a breakout until it gets above 1.26. If it breaks below the 1.2362 wick from early this morning, stay away for now. #XRP $XRP
