At the current price of 83, it’s still a good opportunity to build a position. I’m more focused on long-term growth.
Although HYPE is an altcoin, it differs from many tokens driven purely by market narratives: it is backed by Hyperliquid, a real, operational on-chain trading platform.
Since its launch in late November 2024, HYPE has risen from around $3 to nearly $97, a gain of almost 30 times, demonstrating that the market recognizes its value.
I’m bullish on HYPE for three main reasons:
1. Growing platform trading volume: Hyperliquid has real on-chain trading activity, and the platform’s growth can generate actual demand.
2. HIP-3 expands into traditional financial markets: It creates opportunities for assets such as stocks, indices, and commodities to be traded on-chain, opening up new avenues for growth.
3. Fee buyback and burn mechanism: The platform’s revenue supports HYPE’s value through these mechanisms, while staking can also increase demand for the token.
HYPE’s biggest advantage is that it’s backed by a real business, not just a speculative story. If the platform’s trading volume continues to grow, its ecosystem expands, and market recognition increases, HYPE’s long-term value may be validated.
Short-term volatility is inevitable, but I’m more focused on the growth of the platform behind it. Use low leverage, build your position gradually, and leave yourself room to manage risk.
