BTC withdrawals resume for more assets and networks|Beware of impersonated security alerts|Consider a trial position only above $77,180
My approach is to verify the channel first, then assess the trade. I won’t chase a rally today just because “withdrawals have resumed.” Binance Square’s trending topics include the accurate warning #BewareOfScamsWhileWithdrawalServicesResume. Binance’s sixth security-incident recovery announcement, dated November 3, says that starting at 04:00 UTC, more withdrawable asset and network combinations will be added in phases. The BSC list includes BTC, and native BTC on the BTC network was already included in the first phase of the resumption. The announcement clearly states that not all assets will become available at once; check the withdrawal page after logging in and the network status page for the current status. BTC on BSC and transfers on the BTC mainnet use different network routes, and choosing the wrong network could result in losses. This matters for asset transfers and confidence in the platform, but it does not prove that new spot-market buyers have entered.
The scam risk is more immediate: when users are eager to test withdrawals, impersonated texts, emails, or private messages can create urgency with claims like “verify now” or “pay to unfreeze.” Binance’s official Risk Sniper account warns that fake security alerts may contain short links. The platform will not ask users to verify their accounts through links in unsolicited text messages, nor will it proactively request seed phrases or API keys via private message. I would open the official app myself or manually enter the official website, then check the asset, network, address whitelist, and make a small test withdrawal. Any claim from someone posing as support that you must transfer coins to an external address to restore withdrawals should be verified with official support. This does not mean that any particular scam has been confirmed to have caused losses today.
How has the market reacted so far? At the time of writing, BTC/USD was around $76,713 on Kraken, with a rolling 24-hour high of $78,269.8 and low of $76,254.4; the price remains in the lower half of the range. Farside’s tally showed net outflows of about $398.6 million from U.S. spot BTC funds on November 2. That is data from the previous trading day, not real-time selling today. Strategy formally disclosed that it bought 811 BTC last week, a change in corporate holdings over a different time window. The Federal Reserve kept its rate at 3.75%–4% at its last meeting.
I see around $77,180 as the short-term threshold to watch for a sustained recovery, with around $76,254 as the rolling low and around $78,270 as the upper boundary. If the price moves back above $77,180 but cannot hold there, it would show that the resumption announcement has not automatically translated into sustainable buying. A break below $76,254 would invalidate the short-term bullish view. If Binance later changes the scope of availability or discloses new security information, the situation must be reassessed rather than trading on an old announcement.
If I were trading myself: I would stay out for now, remain directionally neutral, and keep my current position at 0% of total capital. Only if BTC closes above $77,180 for two consecutive one-hour candles and holds that level on a retest would I open a spot trial position using 2% of total capital, with no leverage. The first target would be $78,270, where I would reduce the position by half; the second target would be $79,000, where I would exit the remainder in stages. After entry, if a one-hour candle closes below $76,500, I would stop out and close the entire position. If the price breaks below $76,254 before that trigger, I would cancel the long plan. If there is a new official security warning or a significant change to withdrawal availability, I would pause trading even if the price conditions are met. If none of the conditions are triggered, I would remain flat and would not treat the plan as an executed trade.
