💸 Hackers laundered $242 million after hacking Binance via Tron — expert
According to SomaXBT, over two days the stolen funds were transferred to other networks through bridges and exchanges. The largest amounts went through Relay — $48 million, THORChain — $44 million, and Chainflip — $32.1 million.
The hackers also lost around $22 million to fees, unfavorable swaps, and price movements.
Around $628 million was stolen from Binance on the Tron network in total. Of that, Tether froze 378.7 million USDT.
