TechFlow News, November 3 — According to Bloomberg, Wang Ruomeng, an official with China’s National Development and Reform Commission, said on Tuesday that China is accelerating AI legislation and will impose full life-cycle oversight on the development and application of AI, covering areas such as data and computing power. The standards aim to guard against the risk of increasingly powerful AI systems becoming uncontrollable, and are considered one of the most comprehensive AI safety guidelines to date. The regulations will cover major developers such as DeepSeek, Moonshot and Alibaba, which are working to build products that can compete with leading models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
