CONSENSYS LAUNCHES AN INTEROPERABILITY SOLUTION FOR INSTITUTIONAL NETWORKS 🔗

🏦 Independent ledgers are now connected: At Devcon in Mumbai on November 2, Consensys announced Sovereign Network Interoperability, which coordinates and tracks transactions between independently operated institutional ledgers.

💼 Four core business flows: The solution covers collateral mobility, delivery-versus-payment settlement of tokenized securities, wholesale and cross-currency payments, as well as fund and asset services.

🌉 No bridges needed; assets stay where they are: Assets remain on their original ledgers, while cross-ledger state and execution are cryptographically verified without additional trusted intermediaries.

🧩 Building toward open standards for the future: The core protocol is CLIP, which is expected to support additional standards from the Ethereum ecosystem and IBC, with Canton integration to follow. The solution currently supports EVM-compatible chains.

🌤️ When institutions retain control of their infrastructure while still transacting across networks, the door opens a little wider for tokenized securities and currencies.
