$AGT Daily price is above MA50 (0.03427), up 49.69% in 24h.
While we’re on the subject, let’s talk about moving averages.
The commonly mentioned golden cross and death cross usually refer to the daily MA50 and MA200 crossing: when MA50 crosses above MA200, it’s called a golden cross; when it crosses below, it’s called a death cross. These terms describe the two moving averages crossing each other—not the price crossing a moving average.
The relationship between short- and long-term moving averages is often used to assess the broader trend: short-term averages above long-term averages suggest strength, while those below suggest weakness. But they both reflect past price movements.
Indicators can be wrong, so don’t neglect risk management: deciding in advance what you’ll do if you’re wrong matters more than guessing correctly.
