🧭 Crypto Market

1️⃣ Binance hack update: North Korea rejects the U.S. accusation that it was the “largest crypto hack in history”; Binance’s October 31 proof-of-reserves snapshot has generated a zero-knowledge proof that users can independently verify, and the company says there is “no shortfall in funds”; about $3.64 billion in net outflows in roughly 9.5 hours after withdrawals resumed.

2️⃣ Bitcoin briefly slid toward $75,000 (a “sweep” ahead of the midterms), with traders focused on the key $75k support level; Benjamin Cowen notes that Q4 marked the lows in all three previous midterm election years (2014/2018/2022), while Polymarket puts the odds of Democrats taking control of the Senate at about 74%.

3️⃣ ZachXBT warned that over $106 million was stolen from accounts belonging to an EU entity across multiple centralized exchanges; the attackers are moving the funds cross-chain and through privacy coins such as Monero. Brazil’s largest exchange, Mercado Bitcoin, suffered a security incident involving about $40–49 million and suspended deposits and withdrawals. Holy crap, it really is a hacker bull market.

4️⃣ Saylor and Strategy: Michael Saylor posted “₿on appétit”; Strategy added 811 BTC (about $65.5 million), bringing its holdings to 849,327 BTC, and bought back STRC. Institutions and retail investors are busy calling each other idiots.

5️⃣ Binance launched the “ThankYouBinancians” campaign (KYC users can claim a 100 USDC fee voucher; a 20 million USDC prize pool; and up to about 10% annual yield on savings products). Bitget and OKX are also offering high rates to attract deposits. We retail investors hope this money-grab contest lasts a while, haha @heyibinance.

📌 U.S. Stock Market

1⃣ The three major indexes were mixed, while U.S. tech stocks fell sharply. The aftershocks of October’s “AI sell-off” continued, weighing on the Nasdaq and Philadelphia Semiconductor Index. I was going to buy the dip, but the big guy is still bearish, so I’ll hold off.

2⃣ AI heavyweights such as Nvidia came under pressure; Jensen Huang said he is considering participating in OpenAI’s next funding round and IPO. AMD/MU/SNDK extended their declines, and the memory sector showed no signs of stabilizing.

3⃣ Google wavered amid the AI valuation narrative, then made a modest recovery; META/AMZN traded sideways near their lows after earnings. (11/2)

4⃣ CRCL remained under pressure as BTC slid toward $75,000; SPCX/Apple held up relatively well. Markets await the twin events of the November 3 midterm elections and the November 4 reserve snapshot.

5⃣ Oil rose while gold was mixed, keeping macro hedges in focus; the midterm election results (voting officially begins on 11/3) will determine the short-term direction of risk assets.

🌍 International News

2⃣ Wang Yi met with Bagheri, Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council; Witkoff said the U.S. will mediate Ukraine-Russia talks in the UAE on the 10th–11th.
