What is the Reduce-Only option for?
On Binance USDⓈ-M Futures, opening and closing orders are already placed separately in Hedge Mode, so there is no Reduce-Only option.
If the quantity of a Reduce-Only order exceeds your current position, the excess will not open a position in the opposite direction. The order will be adjusted or canceled according to the rules.
The most important thing to remember when managing positions: after closing a position manually, remember to check whether any previously placed take-profit or stop-loss orders are still active and cancel them if needed.
