🚨【Midday Brief】Bitcoin falls below the $77,000 mark as markets pull back across the board!

The crypto market continued its correction today. Bitcoin ($BTC ) briefly fell below $77,000 and is now trading at around $76,969, down about 1.7% over 24 hours. Ethereum is around $2,253, down about 1.5%; BNB is around $697, down about 2.2%; and Solana is around $92, down about 2.8%. The total crypto market cap has fallen back to around $2.6 trillion.

There are three main factors behind this pullback:
1️⃣ Aftermath of the Binance hack lingers: Following the theft of about $6.3 billion in assets on October 30, ongoing withdrawals have cooled risk appetite. Binance is expected to release its promised proof of reserves today, and the market is waiting with bated breath.
2️⃣ ETF outflows: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of about $643 million last Friday, the largest single-day outflow since the incident.
3️⃣ Packed macro calendar: The U.S. midterm elections today, the Bank of England's rate decision on Thursday, and the U.S. nonfarm payrolls report on Friday are all weighing on risk assets.

There are some positive signs, though: buyers are still stepping in around $77,000, and Bitcoin's intraday losses have narrowed from their lows. Ethereum is holding up relatively well, suggesting investors aren't rushing for the exits in a panic.
