11.02 Gold Trading Recap | After a sharp drop, timing is everything

The previous day, gold had fallen steadily and the market was overwhelmingly bearish. Instead of blindly following the crowd and chasing shorts, we stayed calm and waited for signs of a stable bottom. We caught the rebound and recovery, timed our entries and exits, and took our share of the gains from the volatile market.

Yesterday’s trades:
✅ Long at 3899 → 3911, for 12 points
✅ Short at 3911 → 3907, for 3 points
✅ Long at 3907 → 3912, for 5 points
✅ Key long at 3902 → 3942, for a major 40-point move
✅ Short at 3898 → 3902, for 4 points
✅ Reversed to a short at 3902 → 3898, for 4 points

A total of 68 points banked for the day, with profits of 69,320!
The highlight of the day was the long entered at 3902, which brought in 39,880 in a single trade—the biggest win of the day. The other trades were quick in and out, with small gains adding up. Many of the guys who followed our timing used this market move to free up positions they’d been stuck in and turn losses into profits.

Many traders let market sentiment lead them around: when prices fall, they expect them to keep falling; when prices rise, they chase them endlessly. Our approach has always been clear: markets don’t move in one direction forever. A sharp drop doesn’t mean the trend is completely broken. As long as you identify support and resistance correctly, volatility can offer plenty of opportunity.

We’ve kicked off November with a successful first trade. We’re not chasing overnight riches—we just want every trade to be well-reasoned and consistently executed. We’ll keep our composure, wait patiently for the right levels, and act when prices reach them, helping the team continue to capture market opportunities!
