Last night, sign-ups for receiving RGB through the unisat wallet on Signet topped 20,000; more than 15 million $SPPRGB have already been sent on-chain. RGB transfers, with no custody.
After over 6,000 wallets verified receipt, the stress test was pushed to the 20,000-wallet tier. Whether clients can reliably handle large-scale RGB state is the foundation for whether they can support $USDT circulation later on.

Being visible on the testnet doesn’t mean it’s circulating on mainnet. The mainnet target remains 11.28, and the order is still wallets and UniScan first, followed by UniHexa.
On the wallet side, receiving and state verification need to run smoothly first. Native $BTC assets need a dollar peg, so the entry layer has to be able to handle them. Since November, we’ve also seen more RGB projects emerge. This month is sure to be one to watch for the RGB protocol in the BTC ecosystem, and for the infrastructure around unisat as it brings stablecoins into the ecosystem for better usability.
