Exiting $NEAR at $4.8 wasn’t bad at all; it was a carefully considered decision. I saw a rally driven by futures liquidity and short squeezes, without genuine demand from the spot market to confirm it.
When the coin reached $6, many were chasing the price and expecting a breakout toward $9, then $11 and $12. But the FOMO was obvious, and that was one of the reasons I expected the price to return to $3.5.
Today we’re at $3.8, and prices are starting to approach areas worth paying attention to.
Entering with an initial portion equal to 15% of the total investment allocation at current levels isn’t a bad decision, while keeping liquidity available to add gradually at the demand zones shown on the chart:
$3.50 – $3.35
$2.95 – $2.70
The idea isn’t to chase the bounce, but to build the position in areas that the FOMO crowd had written off.
