📝 | Find out why the dollar fell to 55.50 pounds

⚫️The dollar exchange rate fell today, reaching its lowest level since last week at 55.50 pounds. It has dropped by 65 piastres since the start of the week.

There are two important reasons for the dollar’s decline since the start of the week 👇

1️⃣ Last Thursday, hot money began flowing back into the debt market, with a net inflow of $367.4 million. This came after foreign investors’ net sales last week reached $1.5 billion.

2️⃣ Oil prices fell by 5.5% today, hitting their lowest level in about two weeks at below $110 a barrel. This followed news of peace talks between the United States and Iran.

⚫️Of course, the return of investment to Egyptian markets boosts confidence in the pound, while lower oil prices reduce the energy import bill. Ultimately, this supports the pound against the dollar 💪
