Withdrawals have resumed, and scammers are taking advantage of this moment to strike.
They may impersonate Binance through direct messages (DMs), emails, messaging groups, and even small transfers with a note in the payment receipt, offering to “speed up withdrawals,” give you “processing priority,” help you “receive compensation,” or transfer your assets to a “Binance vault.”
It’s important to remember that Binance will never:
• Contact you unsolicited to discuss your account or funds.
• Offer or charge you to put your withdrawal ahead of others.
• Charge fees to unlock a network or asset.
• Ask you to connect a wallet, sign or authorize something, or transfer funds to “unlock” a withdrawal
• Ask you to transfer your assets to a “vault,” “secure account,” “protected wallet,” or any address provided by someone else.
• Send links to “check eligibility,” “check the status,” or “request compensation.”
• Ask for your password, two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, or recovery phrase (seed phrase).
• Direct you to unofficial Proof of Reserves (PoR) websites.
• Offer paid “asset recovery” services.
Warning: Connecting your wallet or signing and authorizing a suspicious request could give others access to move your assets. And in most cases, blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
Is your withdrawal still pending?
Check the status directly in the official Binance app and website.
If someone says they can speed up your withdrawal in exchange for payment, it’s a scam.
To follow updates, use only the official Binance app, website, and channels.
