Will $BTC dump at the US midterms? I don’t think so.

Everyone expects election week to be chaos. Maybe it is. But I keep looking at how gold, stocks and crypto behaved in earlier election cycles, and the pattern doesn’t say “crash” to me. Markets usually get nervous before the vote, then relax once the uncertainty is gone. Uncertainty is what scares money, not the result itself.

So my view is simple: a big BTC dump around the midterms is less likely than people think. There’s even a real chance it pumps.

But I’m not going to sell you a fairytale. One level decides everything here.

The $75K–$76K zone is major resistance.

That’s the line in the sand. If BTC breaks above it and holds, the bulls get room to run. If it keeps getting rejected there, the downside risk opens up again. Price doesn’t care about my opinion or yours. It only respects levels.

So what’s my plan? I’m watching the reaction at $75–76K, not predicting the outcome. A clean breakout with volume means momentum. A rejection means I stay patient and protect my capital.

Don’t go all-in on one narrative, even a bullish one. Use stop losses, size your positions, and let the chart confirm your idea.

This is my personal view, not financial advice. Do your own research.

Where do you see BTC going into the midterms: breakout above $76K or rejection?
