No hype, no hate—I came across this: “Data: Whales on the Hyperliquid platform currently hold $7.747 billion in positions, with a long-to-short ratio of 0.87,” and it reminded me of how I used to be.
Back then, whenever I saw a news story, I’d want to jump in right away. After a few times buying near the top and selling close to the bottom, I learned my lesson.
These days, my routine is to read the whole thing first, see what the money is doing, and only then decide whether to act. $ETH was no different.
At the end of the day, what I fear most isn’t getting the direction wrong—it’s letting emotions drive my position.
