WALL STREET IS BACK ON ITS FEET, BUT THE THREATS BEHIND THE AI EUPHORIA HAVEN’T GONE AWAY.

S&P 500 futures rose 0.47%, the Nasdaq-100 gained 0.87%, and the Dow Jones added 243 points ahead of a volatile week.

However, the market is facing a big question: Is AI investment really generating returns that justify the capital being burned?

Alphabet and Microsoft sparked concerns after their AI capital expenditure forecasts disappointed. Meanwhile, semiconductor stocks rebounded, including AMD (+2.2%) and Nvidia (+1.5%).

On the other hand, oil prices fell more than 3% after reports emerged that the US and Iran were exploring diplomatic channels. But there is no peace deal yet.

Markets are also awaiting US employment data and the midterm election results.

This is what the market looks like right now:

AI is both a growth engine and a source of risk.

Geopolitics is still driving the direction of energy markets.

US economic and political data could shake global sentiment.

Don’t be fooled by the green on your screen. A rally doesn’t mean the risks have disappeared.

Money moves with expectations. And when expectations change, markets can reverse far faster than anyone imagines.
