🔷 Italy wants a 33% exit tax $BTC
Rome is discussing a tax on people leaving the country: they may have to pay even on assets they haven’t sold.

What’s in the draft budget:
• up to 33% on unrealized gains when moving abroad;
• applies to those who were tax residents for 6 of the past 10 years;
• threshold: assets worth €800,000 or more;
• applies not only to crypto, but to other assets too.

Why it matters: you haven’t sold anything, but the bill has already arrived. Gains are calculated using the market value at the end of the year before you lose residency.

For the price of BTC, this isn’t a crash—it’s a signal: governments are eyeing capital that can be moved abroad. But for now, this is a proposal, not a law.

Would you leave a country with this kind of tax, or stay? 👇
