Take one extra look at the network before withdrawing—it can save you all the time you'd otherwise spend contacting support.
Choose the wrong chain, and your coins won't find their way back on their own.
If they don't show up in your wallet, chances are you just haven't switched to the right network.
If you're new to withdrawing crypto, follow these three steps:
1. Compare the network selected on the withdrawal page with the network currently selected in your receiving wallet, character by character. Similar names don't mean they're the same chain.
2. When withdrawing a particular coin for the first time, send a small test amount first. Once it arrives, send the rest.
3. If the coins don't show up in your wallet after arriving, switch to the corresponding network and check again. Don't rush to send another transaction.
Already sent it to the wrong network? Here's what to do:
Don't try to import your private key on your own, and don't trust anyone who messages you claiming they can recover it as “customer support.”
Only contact support through official channels. Remember to blur your address in any screenshots before sending them.
Have you ever chosen the wrong network and then waited ages for your withdrawal to show up in your wallet?
